Student Observatory
Public observing sessions are held after the 7:30 pm planetarium performances at about 8:30 pm when the weather is clear.
Various celestial objects are featured during the session. If the moon is up (a couple of days before first quarter to a day after full moon), it will be the primary target. Any planets in the evening sky will be included. On any evening, there are a number of double stars, bright nebulae and star cluster that will be viewed as well.
