Students may elect to graduate using the degree requirements in effect at the time of
matriculation or completion. If a program is official after a student has matriculat-
ed, the student may choose the degree requirements of the new program.
In no case may a student use a catalog which is more than six years old at the time
of graduation.
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
MUS C01
The Certificate of Achievement in Music Business and Technology is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in commercial music
production, marketing, recording or management. The program provides in-depth studies of recording technology in the studio setting, with
ample time for projects and research. Two levels of Business of Music are also offered to give students a comprehensive overview of all facets
of the music industry, including management, budgeting, copyrights and related legal issues. In addition, students are required to take cours-
es in general music, communication and computer literacy in order to give them the tools needed to succeed in the open marketplace.
