***Financial Aid News Alert***
Currently, SFS is experiencing two issues related to our post-Census date disbursement. Both issues are causing disbursed amounts, primarily related to the Pell Grant, to be incorrect. SFS is working reports now and we hope to have both issues resolved by Monday, February 13.
Spring 2012 Important Dates
12/09/11 Book awards/Bookstore credit emails to eligible students for Spring 2012
1/09/12 SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) emails to students who were enrolled for Fall 2011
1/12/12 Enrollment Cancellation for non-payment of Spring 2012 courses (check amount due on MyCSN)
1/12/12 at 11:59 p.m. Deadline for students for Bookstore Credit confirmation through MyCSN AND to be enrolled for Bookstore Credit/Book Award to determine eligible amount.
1/13/12 Spring 2012 First Disbursement of Financial Aid (Cashier's Office then has 10 days to process refund checks or direct deposits)
1/16/12 to 2/03/12 Redeem Bookstore Award/Bookstore Credit at CSN bookstores with Photo ID
1/31/12 Spring 2012 Second Disbursement of Finanical Aid (Cashier's Office then has 10 days to process refund checks or direct deposits)
Census Date is 01/30/12
All Financial Aid students, including scholarship only students, must have a valid Degree Granting Major on file with Admissions/Records with an effective date prior to 01/20/12 in order for Satisfactory Academic Progress and Financial Aid Awards to award and disburse correctly for Spring 2012.
