Counseling Department

The Counseling Department provides personal assistance to students in selecting both courses and programs of study which will meet their academic, career and personal goals.

Counselors and advisors guide students in formulating their vocational and educational plans, clarifying basic interests, values and abilities, and identifying and resolving problems which may interfere with student success and retention.

Through the Students First program, counselors and advisors help make enrolling in CSN faster and easier! Students can visit the counseling department to get information on selecting a career, choosing a major and transferring.
