CSN Desert Garden Center

Welcome to the Desert Garden Center! 

The Desert Garden Center is operated by the Department of Ornamental Horticulture at CSN.

The nursery offers native and Mojave desert adapted plants that are started and grown by ornamental horticulture students. Sales of nursery plants supports the CSN horticulture program. Students are employed at the nursery where they learn about native plants and plants that are well suited to our unique environment.

We also partner with Easter Seals of Southern Nevada to employ people with special needs to care for the plants and provide other services. ESSN clients are trained to work in a nursery with the goal of preparing them to enter the workforce at local privately owned nurseries.
