How to Subscribe Using RSS Feeds

There's no one way to do subscribe to a podcast. Each aggregator has its own method. They all use the same feed but the buttons you need to click vary. Remember to look for the RSS symbol.

The most common methods at CSN are:

• using iTunes with a feed linked in your WebCT class or on a web page:
  1. Click on the link to the RSS feed
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar
  3. Open iTunes
  4. Click Advanced in the menu bar
  5. Select Subscribe to podcast
  6. Paste the URL in the window that opens
  7. Click OK

• using Juice with a feed linked in your WebCT class or on a web page:
  1. Click on the link to the RSS feed
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar
  3. Open Juice
  4. Click the add new feed icon
  5. Paste the URL in the URL box in the Add a Feed window
  6. Click Save

• using Bloglines with a feed linked in your WebCT class or on a web page:
  1. Click on the link to the RSS feed
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar
  3. Login to BlogLines
  4. Click Add on the Feeds tab
  5. Paste the URL in the Blog or URL box
  6. Click Subscribe
