The mission of the CSN Career Services Department is to assist students and community members in defining their career goals through exploration activities and self-discovery, develop job search skills and knowledge of the local workforce through intrusive individualized services.
Career Services helps students define their career goals through exploring their unique interests and skills, then matches those interests and skills to specific career areas. The Center also helps CSN students and graduates find employment that puts their education, training, experience and abilities to work.

- Resume assistance to students and alumni seeking employment.
- Perfect Interview preparation software.
- Job Seeking skills and strategies.
- Listings of employment opportunities through Nevada JobConnect.
- Self-directed resource zone including: Internet/Computer Access to Labor Exchange,
Job Hotlines, America’s Job Exchange, Career Information System, and Reference Materials.
- Job Referrals for qualified job seekers.
- Internship Opportunities.
- Workshop and Regent job listings.
- Workshops in job seeking skills and employment decision-making.
- Visiting instructor presentations for faculty and cohort programs.
- Career Events and Job Fairs.
