CSN Student Professional Development Certificate Program

April 4 & 5, 2008 @ Cheyenne Campus


The CSN Student Professional Development Certificate Program is sponsored by the College of Southern Nevada Department of Student Life and Leadership Development and Career Services. The program offers students the opportunity to participate in workshops aimed at enhancing employability skills, professional growth, and career development.

The CSN Student Professional Development Workshops will cover the following key areas:

  • Dining Etiquette
  • How to Write the Perfect Resume 
  • Interview Like a Pro
  • Job Search Tips
  • Career Planning & Assessment
  • Networking Strategies
  • Research Any Organization to Land Your Dream Job
  • Marketing Leadership and Transferable Skills
  • Public Speaking
  • How to Work a Career Fair
  • The 4 Year Transfer and Beyond
  • Embracing Diversity as a Foundation for Leadership

Program Requirements:

The CSN Student Professional Development Certificate Program consists of several workshops totaling 13 hours, which can be completed in a convenient weekend format.
