The Outlook 2003 Web Access Interface
The Navigation Pane
The Navigation Pane usually sits in the upper left corner of the Outlook 2003 Web window. It contains links to each of the sections of your account: Email, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes. When you click on a link in the Navigation Pane, the contents of that section will be displayed in the View Pane.
You may collapse or expand the Navigation Pane by clicking on the button in the top, right corner of the pane.

The View Pane
The View Pane is the space in which your emails are listed. If you want to read an email listed in the View Pane, just click on the title in the View Pane and the email will appear in the Reading Pane.
The Reading Pane
The Reading Pane is the space in which individual items are displayed so that you can read them. For example, if you click on Inbox in the Navigation Pane, and then you click on the title of a particular email in the View Pane, that email opens in the Reading Pane.
