Use Tasks

Edit a Task | Mark a Task Completed

Creating a Task

  1. Click the Tasks heading in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Type a title for the new task into the Subject field.
  4. Choose a Due Date.
  5. Choose a Start Date.
  6. Choose a Status.
  7. Choose a Priority level.
  8. Enter a Percentage that indicates how close the task is to being completed.
  9. If desired, place a check mark in the Reminder checkbox and enter a time and date for the reminder.
  10. Click on the Details tab. You can track hours worked, mileage and billing information.
  11. Click Save and Close.

Editing a Task

  1. Click the Tasks heading in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Double-click the title of the Task you wish to edit in the View Pane.
  3. Make your edits to the task and click Save and Close.

Marking a Task Completed

  1. Click the Tasks heading in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Place a checkmark in the checkbox to the left of the Task's title.
