The A.A.S. degree enables students to enter management training positions within the travel industry and also prepares those presently employed to assume managerial responsibility. Career opportunities include convention and exposition management, meeting and trade show management, hotel/accommodations, recreational activities, special event management, airline and transportation companies, retailing and tour directing at all levels.

Cooperative Internship

There are numerous paid and unpaid work experiences available to students in the program. These cooperative education and coordinated internship positions provide an excellent entry into the field, as well as networking and referral opportunities.

Career Options

Student enrolled in the Department of Hospitality Management will have many career options. Hospitality education programs are in-demand as the hospitality industry is one of the largest employers in many countries. Students studying hospitality management will garner the skills to work in many diverse areas in the hospitality industry including: hotels, restaurants, airlines, cruise-ships, casinos, golf courses, resorts, spas, and much more.
