Adjacent to the the Andre Agassi Boys& Girls Club, the A.D. Guy Center is known as a hub for community resources in West Las Vegas. In 1998, College of Southern Nevada became the first publicly funded college to base a program in a low income neighborhood. The college opened the Center to boost computer literacy in West Las Vegas.
The A.D. Guy Center provides classes to address the specific needs of the surrounding community. In keeping with the original mission of the Center, free computer seminars are offered to the public to increase computer literacy.
The Interactive Lab is open to the public and staffed with Technical Support Instructors who are familiar with most software and hardware used in the Center. They are available to assist with log-on, troubleshoot problems, and help guide the student or public who may be having difficulty or simply need information about College programs and services.
