Math Placement Information & Practice Tests

To attain a Placement Level for a specific course, the Math Department strongly recommends you prepare yourself prior to taking the Math Placement Test. Unless credit from a different institution or SAT/ACT Scores (not more than 2 years old) are used to determine initial placement, students will determine their placement level by taking the Accuplacer Test. Any student unhappy with his/her initial placement may attempt to raise that placement by taking the course specific Diagnostic Tests.

Diagnostic Test 2 Concepts For placement into MATH 095 or 097. Diagnostic Test 3 Concepts For Placement into MATH 096 or MATH 120. Diagnostic Test 4 Concepts For placement into MATH 122, 124, 126 or 128.
