Converting Files for Sharing Between Office 2003 and Office 2007
Office 2007 files may not open with Office 2003 or earlier.
Saving Office 2007 down to Office 97-2003 Document.
You may prefer to save your Office 2007 file down to Office 2003 when posting in WebCT or emailing. Follow these steps:
- Choose File
(the Office icon in the upper left corner, next to the Save icon)
- Choose Save As
- In the Save As dialog box, select Office 97-2003 Document in the Save as Type drop menu
Creating PDF Files in Office 2007
To save or export a file in Office 2007 as a PDF, you need Adobe Acrobat Professional and the following plug-in from Microsoft:
