IN THE EVENT OF A SPILL, LARGE OR SMALL DO THE FOLLOWING

1. Avoid contact with the spill unless you have appropriate training and protective equipment.
2. Immediately evacuate the area and notify Public Safety at 651-7911.
3. Notify Director of Environmental Health & Safety at 651-7445
4. Notify Facilities Management at 651-4888.
5. If medical assistance is needed, call 9-911.
6. Follow the evacuation procedures in the Emergency Action Plan (multicolored posters in campus buildings) and limit access to the area affected by the spill.  
7. Remain in a safe location but in an area where you can meet emergency responders (police, fire personnel).
8. Direct emergency responders to the spill area.
9. Do not re-enter the spill area until advised by emergency responders.
10. Have the MSDS available for emergency responders if possible.
