Earthquakes

DURING AN EARTHQUAKE

1. Get under tables.

2. If in an open area (halls, stairways, etc) 'drop and tuck.'
3. Avoid glass and falling objects.
4. Move away from windows where there are large panes of glass and out from under heavy suspended light fixtures.
5. Contact fire department (9-911).
6. Contact CSN Police (651-7999).
7. Move everyone to the nearest safe location and open space away from hazardous areas.

AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE

1. Do not re-enter buildings until re-occupancy has been ordered.
2. Alternate facilities will be coordinated by college administration.
3. Dismiss or return students and staff to class as directed by college administration.
4. Dismissal, if necessary will be coordinated with college administration and human resources.
