Thomas J. Schoeman, AIA, LEED AP, President/CEO of JMA

Shoeman joined JMA Architecture Studios in 1979 and through his vision and leadership the company has become a regional and nationally recognized firm, recently named the 45th largest firm in the nation by Architectural Record.  Schoeman’s passion for the success of JMA is equal to his passion for the community in which he lives.  He presently serves as a Foundation Trustee for the College of Southern Nevada, on the Boards of the Clark County Public Education Foundation and the Desert Research Institute Foundation.  He is a past President of the American Institute of Architects for both the Las Vegas and Nevada chapters, and is a former Chairman of the Board of Opportunity Village.  Schoeman’s achievements have won him the American Institute of Architects’ Nevada Silver Medal and the Desert Research Institute’s President’s Medal.  JMA is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the American Institute of Architects Western Mountain Region Firm of the Year Award.
