Faculty Development Workshops
The Center for Academic and Professional Excellence (CAPE) is happy to present a series of workshops during the Spring 2008 semesterthat are focused on teaching and learning. Whether you are a new or experienced instructor, you have an opportunity to make an impact on student learning. These workshops have been designed specifically with the community college faculty in mind and will challenge your previous thinking about teaching and learning. Teachers are experts in their areas of instruction. These workshops will help you become experts at tapping into student’s knowledge base and how they learn. Many of the workshops are geared toward CSN faculty in the areas of Advanced Technology Education, but the principles and practice are applicable to all faculty that teach any discipline.
