If a picture is worth a thousand words, doing tells half the story while reflection completes it. Service learning combines community service with reflective practice to achieve course objectives through reciprocal partnerships that address community needs.
Using the principles of backward design, participants in these 90-minute, hands-on, workshops will begin with the end in mind to discover opportunities for student achievement of course objectives through service.
The Center for Academic and Professional Excellence (CAPE) is proud to present Service Learning 101 with CSN faculty member Karen Laing.
