Administration

In order to use the online scheduler you must…

  1. Be a registered CSN student.
  2. You must have a CSN email. This is easily obtained at https://csnstudent.csn.edu/stuverify/
  3. Sign up in person with Tutorial Services at any of our three campuses. Bring a copy of your class schedule with you. Your schedule is easily obtained using the online registration page at: https://bighorn.nevada.edu/sis_csn/XPLXWSRV/START.HTM (or by going to the Registrar’s office at any CSN campus).
  4. After you have signed up with Tutorial Services and completed your first session with a tutor, you will be given a log in and a password which will enable you to schedule your appointments online.
  5. Our policy requires that you make your online appointment between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday ‐Friday. Saturday appointments may be made at the West Charleston and Cheyenne campus only from 9:00am‐2:00pm. Appointments scheduled for the same day before office hours will not be confirmed by staff or checked by tutors, nor will appointments for the following day if made after 4pm the evening before.
  6. To schedule the appointment online visit:

  7. After you log in make certain you have carefully selected the campus, the subject and/or the name of the tutor. If you have any doubt please do not use the online scheduler; instead, call the Tutorial Services office for assistance.
  8. If you made a mistake by selecting the wrong campus, subject or tutor, you will be charged a $9.00 cancellation fee. No exceptions. Please double check to make sure you have made the correct selections. We suggest that students using the scheduler call to confirm their online appointment with the Tutorial Services desk staff.
  9. Tutors will not be checking their schedules after hours.
  10. You must indicate what subject you are being tutored in on your appointment request (under “Special Instructions”).
  11. Students using long distance cell phones will not be notified via phone of any changes that might occur with your appointment. However, students will be notified via e‐mail.
  12. It is the student’s responsibility to contact Tutorial Services if experiencing problems during the scheduling process.
  13. Students are allowed to reschedule their appointments one (1) time through the online scheduler; additional changes must be made by a member of the tutorial staff.
