Student Activities and Information
The Department of Student Life and Leadership Development consists of staff members that serve as advisors, mentors and facilitators to student leaders and members of more than 30 clubs, organizations and Student Government.
The Department of Student Life and Leadership Development team helps students acquire life-long learning skills and global citizenship by promoting and supporting campus activities that appeal to a diverse community.
We have three convenient locations to meet your co-curricular needs:
- Charleston Campus: Bldg B, Room 102C
- Cheyenne Campus: Bldg B, Room 1089
- Henderson Campus: Bldg B, Room 130E
ASCSN has been established to provide students with government and leadership experience. Learn firsthand about group dynamics, decision making, event programming, and parliamentary procedures.
CSN Student Leadership Academy
The CSN Student Leadership Academy is a certificate program sponsored by the Community College of Southern Nevada.
CSN Student Professional Development Certificate Program
The program offers students the opportunity to participate in workshops aimed at enhancing employability skills, professional growth, and career development.
CSN Student Leadership Awards
In an effort to recognize outstanding students, student employees and club advisors who are involved with the College of Southern Nevada activities, the Department of Student Life and Leadership Development has established the CSN Student Leadership Awards.
Student E-Mail Access
CSN provides a full-featured web-based email system for use by students enrolled in for credit courses at CSN.
Clubs and Organizations
We have over 30 clubs and organizations. Clubs provide an opportunity for students with a common interest to form a membership group and develop activities/events that cultivates a sense of community.
