Interlibrary Loan

Books or journal articles not available at CSN libraries may be obtained through interlibrary loan. All faculty, students and staff with a current library card may use this service. There may be a cost for this service depending on the type of material requested and its location. Please allow three days to four weeks to process and receive ILL material (the amount of time is contingent upon the location of the requested material).

Forms to request interlibrary loans are available at each campus library circulation desk. One form must be completed for each item requested, and each form must be filled out completely. As a convenience, ILL requests may also be submitted directly online via the CSN Online Catalog (choose the Request a Document Delivery Item option from the main screen, and follow the onscreen instructions).

All interlibrary loan materials must be picked up and returned to the library where the request was submitted. Remember that interlibrary loan materials are provided to us as a courtesy, and must be returned on time and in good condition. The borrower is responsible for any fines or fees assessed by the lending library for overdue or lost materials.
