Call for Nominations for the 2008 Nevada Regents' Awards. If you have a colleague who you deem worthy of this award in any of the three categories, please take the time to nominate her/him. CSN’s N.J. Pettit was the winner of this prestigious award in the category of Academic Advising for 2007.
CSN can send forth one nomination in each of the following categories:
1. Nevada Regents' Creative Activities Award

All nominations must be submitted to the Center for Academic & Professional Excellence (CAPE) and received no later than October 24, 2008. Nominations will be accepted via email to cape@csn.edu or in CD format (2 copies with name of nominee and category clearly marked on the CD) via interoffice mail addressed to CAPE at W31E. CAPE will submit all nominations to the CSN Institutional Selection Committee who will evaluate the nominations and determine which nominee in each category will be advanced to the Board of Regents for consideration prior to the NSHE deadline of November 7, 2008.
In addition to the above awards for faculty and staff, the Regents recognize an outstanding student scholar at each NSHE institution.
