The Honors Program Mission and Vision

Vision:

 To offer students at the College of Southern Nevada an opportunity to prepare for the depth and range of further academic challenges and social responsibilities in an increasingly complex world.  

Mission: 

 The mission of the Honors Program at the College of Southern Nevada is to promote the life of the mind by enabling students to engage as citizens and future leaders, developing strong critical and intellectual capacities through collaborative and independent learning experiences. Our goal is to provide Honors students with an enhanced academic experience, whether their goal is an Associate's degree, further undergraduate work, or personal educational objectives.

Core Values and Outcomes: 

 The Honors Program at CSN seeks to uncover and create honors students. Our platform, based on expectations for accomplishment in challenging coursework and co-curricular activities supports synthesized learning and invites students to discover, analyze, and engage with culture and community. Our outcomes require students to think competently, understand deeply, and act ethically.
