Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure

1. Stop the activity.
2. Wash the area with soap and water.  If involving eyes, nose, mouth flush with large amounts of clean water.
3. Provide first aid.
4. Report the incident to a supervisor and the infection control manager
5. Complete the following forms:
     CSN Written Statement/Incident Report
     Report of Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens
     Employees: Notice of Injury or Occupational Disease Incident Report - C-1 form
6. SEEK MEDICAL EVALUATION as soon as possible
