Meet CSN Students, Past & Present

Since 1971, CSN has positively impacted the lives of thousands of students. Here are just a few of their stories.

"After graduating a year early from high school and moving to Las Vegas from a small town in Arizona, I needed to find a college that suited my needs. I needed a college with a small student-teacher ratio in the classroom, low cost in tuition, and caring faculty and staff to help me with the transition from high school to college. I needed to find a college that would help me grow into an adult by taking the right steps. College of Southern Nevada was the right choice for me since it suited my needs and has helped me make the right decisions, not only in college, but also on a day to day basis. Attending CSN for the past two years has been a great experience in the classroom and in student life. There are so many workshops, sports and activities to choose from that are not only fun but educational. "

"I chose to attend CSN for many reasons. I wanted to complete my associates degree in biology here. The program has been great. I have had excellent professors, each encouraging questions and enthusiastic about what they teach. Campus life is great as well. Each campus is a small and relaxed community. There are also many resources on campus such as free tutoring, and every student is welcome. CSN sets you up for success."

"Prior to attending and graduating from Grambling State University, I began my journey to public service at the formerly known Clark County Community College (now CSN).

This institution of higher learning, gave me the confidence and motivation to pursue my life's dreams of serving the community , in which I was raised. Thank you CSN for all you have done and will continue to do here in the great "State of Nevada".
