Space Mural ExhibitNASA Great Observatories Image11/10/2009 8:00:00 AM-12/10/2009 11:00:00 PM Display of a mural-sized image of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Produced by combining images from the Hubble Space Telescope, the Spitzer Infrared Space Telescope and the Chandra X-Ray Space Telescope. This is a finale event for the International Year of Astronomy. The mural will be on display through December 10, 2009. The unveiling event and reception is open to the public and will occur at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10. |
