FALL 2009 SEMESTER

• Continuing registration for all students begins Tuesday, May 5 and continues through Thursday, August 6, 2009.
   

• Last day to pay for Fall Semester classes is Thursday, August 6, 2009 - unless your financial aid application is considered "complete" or you have activated your Millennium Scholarship Award and declared a CSN major. Your registration will be "purged" if unpaid or your financial aid application is incomplete.

   

• Registration for the Fall 2009 Semester continues August 10 through August 30, 2009.  Immediate payment is expected during this registration period.

   

• All financial aid paperwork is due Monday, June 1, 2009, to ensure financial aid payment will be made by the tuition due date for Fall 2009 Semester.  If you submit your paperwork after June 1st, you should plan to pay your bill with your own funds and, if you are eligible for financial aid, you will be reimbursed later. 

   

• Students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after Monday, June 1, 2009, are encouraged to complete a Time Payment Plan with the Cashier’s Office or make other payment arrangements.

   

• Student Financial Services will begin crediting financial aid payment, including Millennium Scholarships, beginning August 22, 2009.  Aid will be posted as a payment against the CSN Student Account.

   

• Contact the Cashier’s Office to arrange for Direct Deposit of excess financial aid funds.

    

• If financial aid overpays your account, the excess will be refunded to you within 14 days of the credit balance to your student account.

   

• View your financial aid award through the CSN Web-Reg site.

   

• Activate your free CSN student e-mail account to receive important account information and notices.
