Logo & Graphics Guidelines
The Division of Public and College Relations maintains CSN’s branding standards and the use of the CSN logo on college materials and publications. The guidelines in the Style Guide Manual outline authorized and improper usage, space and size requirements, color applications and stationery templates. There is also information on how to download, apply and print the logo. The files referenced throughout the manual can be found on the CD provided to Deans, Chairs, VP's and other key personnel at the time of initial publication. If you do not have access to a CD or would like to request a manual for your area, please call us at (702) 651-7474 or email us at publicandcollegerelations@csn.edu.
Please take a moment to explore the manual and become familiar with our logo and style standards.
College Event Publicity
Do you need to publicize your event to the college community? We have a variety of options that can help based on availability:
The CSN Weekly is an internal e-newsletter announcing events on and around the campus for both students and faculty.
The Intercampus Communications System is a digital network that provides a forum for visual content pertinent to the CSN community.
The Event Calendar is accessed from the home page and requires your website page owner to assist you with entry.
There are also some events that may be authorized for posters, press releases, and all-college emails. Please take a moment to look over the Poster Guidelines.
Use the PUBLICIZE MY EVENT link below to access and submit the form. Once your request has been reviewed, you will receive an email with a list of approved tactics.
InterCampus Communication System
CSN maintains a network of 60 flat screen monitors strategically mounted in faculty office areas and student areas of our three main campuses. This digital network is in place to provide a forum for visual content pertinent to the CSN community. Commonly referred to as ‘digital signage’, we refer to our network of flat screen monitors as the Intercampus Communication System (I.C.S).
Social Media Assistance
Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Facebook are some of the busiest social media sites on the web and CSN has a presence on each site. We can provide insight on how to use these sites and can help you set up a page or group. Features include posting comments, sending bulletins, viewing and answering student questions, posting links to your CSN page, creating groups and more! We have a large number of “fans” on each site that we can reach with the touch of a button. By linking from the CSN sites, these ”fans" of CSN are able to view your information while checking the main pages for updated content and events.
Web Design and Assistance
Together with OTS, we can consult with you and help you to create a dynamic site that stands out to your target audience and effectively communicates your message to them. By utilizing our user-friendly content management system, Site Builder, you will be able make your idea a reality in no time. Beginner, intermediate and advanced Site Builder courses are available through CAPE to get you started. And while we do not support those academic areas using other web editors to create and revise content, we are available to you for design and messaging advice.
