Nathaniel Waugh was elected President of the Associated Students of the College of Southern Nevada on April 30, 2009 and sworn in on May 14. 2009.
Before becoming President, Nathaniel served as Vice President of ASCSN for a short time, which was preceded by a semester as a Senator Representing the Cheyenne Campus.
Nate devotes much of his time to public service with the US Department of Homeland Security, which this love for public service motivated him into a leadership role in student government.
Since joining student government, Nate has helped in the fight to protect the future of Nevada Education. He currently serves in the Nevada Student Alliance (NSA), the CSN Presidents Cabinet, the Nevada System of Higher Education Tuition and Fees Committee and the CSN Strategic Planning Committee.
