 Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

$30,000 per year for two to three years

Eligibility

    • Minimum GPA 3.5
    • Sophomore or recent graduate with sophomore status by December 31st, 2011, or a recent graduate since spring, 2007
    • Plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university in fall 2012.
    • Have a cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.50 or better on a scale of 4.0 (or the equivalent).
    • Be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at his or her two-year institution.
    • Have significant unmet financial need.
    • Have not previously been nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

 

The application is to be completed online  - www.jkcf.org/scholarships/undergraduate-transfer-scholarships/. You do not need to ask permission of a member of the Academic Scholarship Committee to complete the application. Contact a member of the committee only if you have a question or need advice.

 

References: References are crucial to  your application. Request references from those faculty who know your academic achievements and potential so well that they can attest to your scholarship. Also, based on their knowledge of you and your work, they should be able to acknowledge your potential for growth in your chosen field. Do not leave this information to the last minute.
