Under the rules of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), information from student records can only be released under certain circumstances. If you have previously submitted requests of a similar nature and have explained the purpose , you can skip this field.

Hint: If you can write your report request in 1-3 complete sentences, it is probably complete. For example, "I want a mailing list for all graduates since July 2006 by degrees and program. I would like to see the graduation dates and graduates' age, when available."
