Academic Technology Services
The role of Academic Technology Services (ATS) is to provide support and services for classroom and event technology, offering a wide range of audio-visual equipment, as well as planning, design, and recommendations for the installation and implementation of technologies that enhance classroom teaching, student learning, and presentations.
The team supports the Board of Regents’ meetings and other special events with advanced web-streaming services, video conferencing technology, and audio and video support. We support more than 300 Smart Classrooms and provide additional technologies in classrooms as requested through the helpdesk by CSN faculty and staff.
Academic Technology Services provides high-level support to the ANGEL Learning Management System creating tutorials, FAQ’s and tip sheets for faculty and students to improve the experience and answer questions. ATS is also responsible for managing cross-functional teams to ensure that the Online Campus stays online in support of teaching and learning at CSN.
