Welcome to the College of Southern Nevada Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity. Our office provides leadership and resources that promote CSN’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.
The Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity Office is responsible for investigating complaints of unlawful discrimination and sexual harassment in admission, employment, and access to college services; investigating complaints regarding treatment in college-sponsored programs and activities; collaborating with campus units in the development of the college’s affirmative action plan; assisting units in the recruitment and retention of women, men, persons with disabilities and other under-represented groups; providing training in equal opportunity, sexual harassment, diversity, and other related topics as needed or by request; and advising faculty, staff, and students who believe they may have been subjected to sexual harassment or discrimination.
The College of Southern Nevada maintains its commitment to recognize and nurture merit, talent, and achievement by supporting diversity and equal opportunity in its education, services and administration. The college acknowledges the need to remove barriers to the recruitment, retention, and advancement of talented students, faculty and staff from populations that are currently under-represented.
We encourage you to explore our website where you will find information and resources that support the CSN mission to maintain an environment that is free from harassment and discrimination.
