The Dam Short Film Festival is held annually in Boulder City, Nevada, typically in early February. The festival is run by the Dam Short Film Society, a non-profit corporation.

RAW: Natural Born Artists is an arts organization for independent artists working in all creative forms. RAW is looking for a production/marketing assistant intern to assist the RAW event director in promotion, local publicity, communications, ticket sales and the guest list process. This internship rund from June 2011- October 2011. Job responsibilities include:
--Assist the Event Director with artists communication/updates
--Attend venue/walk-through for each showcase
--Assist the Event Director at each showcase with set up and stricke
--Completing showcase reports per event.
--Maintain Social Media/Buzz/Artist of the Day for RAW Las Vegas
Requirements include:
--Intern must be 21-years-old or older
--Must have transportation

Student PIRGs (Public Interest Research Groups) are independent statewide organizations that work on issues like environmental protection, consumer protection, and hunger and homelessness. We organize college students to solve some of the world's most pressing public interest problems.
Through the Student PIRGs intern program, students will learn how to plan and run a campaign, recruit and train a team of volunteers, work with the media, and educate their campus about these issues. Fall campaigns include Energy Service Corps., Sustainable College of Southern Nevada, End Unhealthy Food Subsidies, Make Textbooks Affordable, and No Hunger - No Homelessness.
