The General Education Review Committee is asking for comment on Version 3 of the Distribution Model General Education proposal for CSN AA, AS and AB degrees. Please note that this draft proposal is a work in progress and we would like your perspective and input to help guide the process. AAS Degrees will be handled separately.

The General Education Distribution Model for AA, AS and AB General Education Requirements was introduced to Senate as an information item on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. The proposal defines General Education Outcomes and provides a list of Requirements and a set of Procedures for moving a course in and out of those Outcomes. The proposal also includes recommendations for courses that fit Outcomes, drawn from prior faculty input. You will find a link to the proposal, the charge of the committee and a Comment Form above.
Please use the Comment Form to submit your input on Populating Course lists, Outcomes, Definitions of Outcomes, or any other relevant issue. If you prefer, you can also contact your department chairs or lead faculty/program directors, or any of the committee members. A list is provided.
