Visa

NEW STUDENTS
A visa determines that you are eligible to enter the US in F-1 status (Click Here for Visa Info). Visas must be obtained prior to entering the US. (Click Here for Visa Wait Time Info).

CURRENT STUDENTS
If you are traveling abroad and need to extend your visa before returning to continue your studies at CSN, schedule an appointment at IC (link to their home page contact box) to meet with an advisor at least 3 weeks prior to leaving the United States.

I-94

The "white" card (Admission/Departure Record) which denotes "Admitted F-1 D/S" is required.

I-20

Certificate of Eligibility form issued to a student accepted to a school as an F-1 student is required. The information on the I-20 must be valid while attending a college or university in the United States.

Keep photocopies of your immigration documents in a safe place.
