PLACEMENT OUT OF STATE:
CSN does NOT accept placement tests from other schools
All new CSN degree/certificate seeking or transfer students are required to take the English and Math placement tests unless your ACT/SAT scores meet proper requirements. (See the “Testing” section of the CSN General Catalog for specific levels met.)
All students are required to take a placement test, if they are taking an English, Math (except entry levels Math – 104, 116), Reading or Business Letter Writing course.

CSN INSTRUCTOR’S Exam OUT OF STATE:
Any person living outside of Las Vegas needing to take a CSN INSTRUCTOR’s Exam without traveling to Las Vegas MUST contact their instructor for assistance. CSN instructors are responsible for setting up their OWN out of state exams.
