Loan Information Update
Due to sequestration, loan fees for subsidized and unsubsidized direct loans increase from 1.0% to 1.051%, and parent plus loan fees increase from 4.0% to 4.204% for disbursements made after July 1, 2013.
To process as many loans as possible under the old loan feess for the benefit of our students, CSN would like to disburse loan funds for students who are not first time/first year borrrowers on Friday, June 28, 2013.
To be included in this disbursement group, students must submit their loan applications by close of Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Please make sure you have a valid MPN, (Master Promissory Note), on file and completed your loan entrance counseling prior to June 19, 2013.
Loan applications received after June 19, 2013, or summer loan applications that were submitted timely but have no or invalid MPN, and missing loan entrance counseling, may be subject to the new loan fees due to delayed processing.
