ScholarshipsScholarships are gifts of money awarded to applicants on the basis of academic achievement or special talents. Unlike some other forms of financial aid, scholarships do not have to be repaid. Awards start at $500 and go up from there. The College of Southern Nevada encourages all students to apply for these prestigious, though limited, awards. The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Student Financial Services Office in collaboration with CSN Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of our web-based scholarship application. The CSN Scholarship Application will be available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Students can apply for all CSN administered scholarships with one application. Student Financial Services will begin accepting 2011-2012 applications through July 25, 2011. The priority deadline is June 20, 2011.The information you provide in this application will be reviewed by the CSN Scholarship Committee for many different measurements of scholarship including academic excellence (GPA), program of study, leadership, community service experience, financial need, and written or oral communication. It is very important that the information you provide be as accurate as possible.
