Our mission is to provide our students with all the resources necessary to obtain academic success at CSN. Through our Work Study programs, you can work a part-time job while attending school, to supplement your academic pursuits and provide you with a means of financial support. If you qualify, you will be placed in a position on one of our 3 main campuses, academic and learning centers or off campus with private nonprofit organizations promoting community service work. Your total workstudy award will depend on when you apply, your level of financial need, and our current year funding. If you are interested in this opportunity, you should apply early so you'll have a better chance of receiving work-study funds.

Student Employment Benefits:

Students lacking an employment history may establish a work record.
Students can learn the fundamental skills of employment such as punctuality, communication, cooperation and time management.
Students gain preparation for the world of work through processes of interviewing, hiring, training,
supervision, relating to coworkers and the public, meeting expectations and achievement of goals.
Working on-campus help students develop a sense of community and belonging. Studies show that students who work part time on campus perform better scholastically and are more likely to
graduate.
