Counseling Department

The Counseling Department provides personal assistance to students in selecting both courses and programs of study which will meet their academic, career and personal goals.

Counselors and advisors guide students in formulating their vocational and educational plans, clarifying basic interests, values and abilities, and identifying and resolving problems which may interfere with student success and retention. 

Hours of Operation and Services

Hours are:

Monday 8:00am – 6:30pm

Tuesday – Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

          

MyCSN Call Center

CSN now has a MyCSN Call Center to assist you with the following information:

  • Reset student passwords

  • Provide assistance with navigating the MyCSN enrollment system

  • Answer general CSN questions

The call center number is (702) 651-5555. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-7:00pm. Representatives will not be able to provide specific details about a student's account/record at this time. However, any call that is beyond the call center's ability to assist will be routed to the appropriate department and/or designee. 

Counseling/Advising at all Three Campuses:

In addition to New Student Advising Workshops, counselors and advisors are available at all three campus Counseling Centers by appointment and at the Express Counseling Desk.

New students (first-time freshmen) should go to the Express Counseling Desk for assistance. 

Returning and Transfer students should go to Express Counseling for quick questions or the Counseling Front Desk for an appointment. 

Both Future appointments and Same Day appointments are available. Same Day appointments are available each day at 8:00am on a first come first served basis only.
