Technical Skills Enhancement Preparation
The skill trade applicant will prepare for skill Trades Test Battery. The course will provide the potential candidate the knowledge necessary to be successful for entry into skill trades occupations. (Manufacturing/Construction)
Manufacturing Training
Manufacturing Concepts
A study of manufacturing principles which include, but are not limited to team development. Soft skills include teamwork, problems solving, quality principles and communication skills. The student will also learn project management.
Manufacturing Certificates
Students will learn both the soft skill and technical skill needed to be successful technicians. Soft skills include teamwork, problems solving, quality principles and communication skills. Technical skills (based on National Skill Standards) include manufacturing principles, introduction to plastics, metallurgy, welding, hydraulics, material handling, quality assurance, machine shop and technical mathematics.
