This training program contains an explanation of the epidemiology and symptoms of bloodborne diseases\; modes of transmission of bloodborne pathogens\; use and limitations of methods that will prevent or reduce exposure\; types\, selection\, use\, location\, removal\, handling\, decontamination and disposal of personal protective equipment\; information on the hepatitis B vaccine\; procedures to follow if an occupational exposure incident occurs\; and signs and labels denoting biohazard materials or waste.</div>
