The son of Regis and Denise Cichoski, Kris began playing baseball at the age of 4. Kris was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2005. He enjoys playing pool in his spare time. Kris feels the greatest thrill in sports to date was Barry Bonds' home run chase in 2001. A four year varsity athlete in high school, Kris compiled a 6-4 record on the mound with a 2.31 ERA. At the plate, Kris batted .500 with two home runs and 40 RBIs his senior year. He was a member of Durango's 2004 American Legion state championship team.
