son of Bert and Christine Cochran, Casey began playing baseball at the
age of 5. His hobbies and interests include cars, trucks, off-roading,
working out, and sports. A three year varsity athlete in high school,
Casey, in his junior season, helped lead the Wolves to the 4A Southeast
League title in 2004. He compiled a 9-2 record his senior year with two
saves, a 2.25 ERA and 63 strikeouts.
