The
son of Robbie and Tina Conder, Shay began playing baseball at the age
of 5. Shay was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2005. In
his spare time, Shay enjoys fishing, hunting and camping. He feels the
greatest thrill in sports to date is winning a World Series championship.
A four year varsity athlete in high school, Shay hit .385 and .421 in
his final two seasons.
