son of Rick and Cindy Hirschfeld, Steven began playing baseball at the
age of 5. Steven was drafted by the then-Montreal Expos in 2004, and again
by the Colorado Rockies in 2005. Steven has signed a letter-of-intent
to play baseball at San Diego State University. He feels the greatest
thrill in sports to date is winning a championship. In his spare time,
Steven enjoys hunting, four-wheeling and hanging out with his friends.
