The
son of Carl and Margret Johnson, Cameron began playing baseball at the
age of 4. Cameron was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2005. Cameron
has signed a letter-of-intent to play baseball at San Diego State University.
He feels the greatest thrill in sports was when the Boston Red Sox won
the 2004 World Series after their historic comeback in the ALCS. A three
year varsity athlete in high school, Cameron batted .370 and .310 in his
junior and senior seasons, respectively.
