The son of Reg and Rochelle Miles, Cole began playing baseball at the age of 15. Cole was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2005. He feels the greatest thrill in sports to date was when the Boston Red Sox won the 2004 World Series after their historic comeback in the ALCS. A four year varsity athlete in high school, Cole helped lead the Vikings to the 5A Region 1 championship in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
